How do you make someone reading a poem visually interesting? And how do you visually interpret that poem without being over-literal? This was the challenge of this video project.

George Mayfield is a parkour athlete and one of the things I wanted to get across in this shoot is the parkour philosophy of reclaiming the urban environment from its intended use and finding personal, creative ways to move through it.

I started my career shooting covers for heavy metal music magazines, and one of things I loved about this was the sheer unbridled visual creativity.

A curse (or maybe it's a blessing) of being a photographer is that wherever I go there is always a part of my brain on the lookout for good potential shoot locations.
